Waunakee Manor serves the Waunakee community with the full continuum of care (from skilled nursing to independent living) under one roof. They offer several comforts and amenities beyond those usually associated with skilled nursing facilities, and wanted to add a ventilator unit to meet the growing demand. Vogel Bros. Building Co. renovated the lower level of the Manor giving them a brand new, state-of-the-art 20 bed post-acute ventilator unit. This respiratory focus allows for the management of short and long term ventilator dependence, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week under the medical direction of a licensed pulmonologist. The renovation also included the addition of a modern sports lounge and additional gathering space for families visiting the independent living residents.
