Vogel Bros. Building Co. served as the General Contractor for the construction of the new Middleton Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Center, a purpose-built outpatient ambulatory surgery facility expanding access to advanced orthopedic and spine care in southcentral Wisconsin. The facility represents a strategic expansion of surgical services in the rapidly growing Middleton community.
Developed in partnership with Orthopedic & Spine Centers of Wisconsin and healthcare development partners, the approximately 12,000 square-foot facility was designed specifically to support high-efficiency outpatient surgical procedures. The center includes multiple operating rooms and procedure suites tailored for joint replacements, sports medicine, spine procedures, and other orthopedic specialties.
The design emphasizes streamlined clinical flow, patient comfort, and modern surgical technology integration. Key components include operating rooms, pre-operative and post-anesthesia care units, sterile processing areas, physician support spaces, and welcoming patient waiting areas. The building incorporates advanced HVAC systems for air quality control, medical gas systems, specialized electrical infrastructure, and stringent life-safety and infection control measures required for ambulatory surgical facilities.
Through detailed coordination of specialized healthcare systems and close collaboration with the ownership and design teams, Vogel Bros. delivered a technically sophisticated facility that enhances regional outpatient surgical capacity while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and performance. The Middleton Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Center strengthens access to specialized care and reflects Vogel Bros.’ expertise in delivering complex healthcare construction projects.
