Vogel Bros. Building Co. successfully completed the construction of Oakwood Village’s Hebron Oaks Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. The center represents a significant advancement in senior care, providing a modern and comfortable living environment for its residents. Vogel Bros. Building Co.’s commitment to quality construction has resulted in a state-of-the-art facility for a long time customer that will serve the Madison community for years to come. Located at the University Woods campus on Madison’s West Side, this 111,500 square foot, 60-bed nursing home boasts an array of amenities to enhance the living experience of its residents. Among these amenities is a full-service chef’s kitchen and dining room for each wing, five in total, a bistro for casual dining, two salon and spas for personal care services, community room, library, serenity room, therapy gym for rehabilitation exercises, in-house pharmacy, and roof terraces. Green roofs and bio-retention pods were incorporated to effectively handle stormwater. The suites at Hebron Oaks have been thoughtfully constructed to prioritize comfort and functionality. Spanning 450 square feet, the suites are double the size of those in the previous building. They feature separate living rooms and kitchenettes, oxygen hookups, and a spacious bathroom for ease of use. The skilled nursing and rehabilitation center includes a dedicated 12-bed hospice wing to provide compassionate care for those in need of end-of-life support. Additionally, 48 rooms have been specifically designed for short-term rehabilitation purposes, catering to individuals seeking recovery.
