Vogel Bros. Building Co. served as the general contractor for this downtown Madison office expansion and renovation for PUBG Madison, transforming adjacent vacant tenant space into a modern, collaborative workplace environment designed to support continued growth and innovation. The project expanded the existing office footprint to approximately 17,777 square feet and accommodated more than 200 occupants.
The renovation focused on creating a flexible, technology-driven workplace with a strong emphasis on employee experience. The updated office included open workspaces, conference rooms, collaboration lounges, phone booths, wellness and mother’s rooms, upgraded break areas, and a dedicated demonstration theater. Specialized infrastructure improvements also supported an expanded server room and integrated A/V systems tailored to PUBG’s operational and technology requirements.
Architectural features included custom millwork, perforated metal details, acoustic wall systems, glass partition assemblies, integrated branding opportunities, and hospitality-inspired finishes throughout the space. The project also incorporated ADA-compliant restrooms, shower facilities, and wellness amenities to create an inclusive and employee-focused environment.
Construction required careful coordination within an occupied multi-story downtown office building, including phased demolition, infrastructure upgrades, enhanced power and data distribution, and integration of advanced technology systems. Through close collaboration with the project team, Vogel Bros. delivered a contemporary workplace that blends functionality, flexibility, and modern design.
