Vogel Bros. served as the general contractor for the Phase 3 redevelopment of Building 100 at the Hilldale mixed-use development in Madison, Wisconsin. This multi-phase commercial renovation transformed existing retail shell space into modern tenant-ready environments while coordinating construction adjacent to occupied spaces and previously completed work.
The project involved extensive interior demolition, structural modifications, new foundations, steel framing, exterior façade enhancements, and full MEPFP system upgrades within the west portion of the building. Work included selective removal of existing load-bearing masonry walls, roof framing modifications, new slab-on-grade construction, storefront systems, and updated life safety infrastructure.
The redevelopment required careful sequencing, temporary structural shoring, and close coordination between trades to maintain safety and minimize disruption within the active Hilldale development.
