Project Description

The Edwin E. and Janet L. Bryant Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Stoughton, WI concepted the Norwegian Heritage Center, a facility intended to become a community resource, with an emphasis on exploring and reinforcing the strong Norwegian heritage of the region. The two-story building will total approximately 15,000 square feet, including a large main floor, a smaller second floor, plus a nearly full basement to be used primarily for archival storage. The Norwegian Heritage Center includes space for both permanent and temporary museum-quality exhibits, a small auditorium for audio-video presentations, genealogy library, lounge, staff offices, and mixed-use spaces.
