Midwestern Wheels, Inc.’s new 18,000-square-foot facility in Madison, Wisconsin, is a greenfield development constructed by Vogel Bros. Building Co. to support the company’s local and airport rental operations. The two-story building serves as a full-service vehicle rental hub, offering office space, a service bay, and a car wash on the first floor, with additional offices and mechanical storage on the second floor. The structure consists of structural masonry and steel framing with joist and metal deck, precast plank with concrete topping, metal wall panels, EPDM roofing, overhead doors, and concrete foundations, along with a two-stop elevator and two metal stair systems.
The site includes both public and secured private parking areas with access control gates, security fencing, curb and gutter, striping, signage, concrete aprons, a fueling station, and EV fast-charging stations to support a mixed fleet that includes electric vehicles. The facility functions as a centralized operations and service center for Midwestern Wheels’ Madison market.
