Project Description

Jefferson Emergency Medical Services had been planning for a combined fire and EMS services facility for four years when Vogel Bros. Building Co. and Five Bugles Design were chosen to lead the design and construction. The new facility features EMS vehicle garage space, several bedrooms for emergency medical technicians staying overnight, a kitchen/recreation room, bathrooms and showers, a room for initial medical assessment and much needed storage spaces. “This was something that took a long time to develop,” said Jefferson Fire Chief Ron Wegner. “A lot of time, research, debate and discussion went into this building. We needed a functional building that’s going to last us 50 years. We believe we’ve done that in a cost-effective way for the taxpayer.”
