When Truesdell Animal Clinic added a vet to their practice and needed additional space, without hesitation they turned to Vogel Bros. Building Co. We had partnered with them for the initial construction of this clinic, and were welcomed back for the much needed renovations. A series of leadership turnover who had a wish list greater than the budget allowed, resulted in Vogel Bros. Building Co. and BlowfisH Architects approaching this project in a design-build manner to best serve the customer. It was necessary for the clinic — who serves clients 6 days a week — to remain operational during the construction. First phase of the project was the addition, and the second was a sweep through the existing space that focused on updates. The reception area was reoriented to better serve clients and store product. Additional exam rooms were created, and the existing rooms were given a face-lift with new finishings, tile, ceilings and lights. New surgical tables were installed back of house, along with a dedicated grooming station with two bathing tubs. Individual offices replace shared offices, and ancillary spaces such as a comfort room and outdoor dog run, were added to better support their clients.
