Project Description

Pasco County awarded this important contract to Vogel Bros. Building Co. in 2014 to enable the County to take the Deer Park Wastewater Treatment Plant off-line and decommission the facility by December 31, 2014 in accordance with the FDEP consent orders. Vogel Bros. Building Co. had to be sensitive to the fact that the construction site is surrounded closely by a residential neighborhood and had to take measures to reduce construction related noise, odors and debris impacts on the community. The construction included the FOC link to Pasco County Government Center, a 4,800 square foot architectural pump house building with generator room and air-conditioned control/electrical room, four pump in-line booster station with four VFD driven 100 HP non-clog centrifugal duty pumps, with space for a future fifth pump, .600 kW back-up engine generator with exterior bulk fuel storage, electrical, instrumentation and communications systems.
