Project Description

Vogel Bros. Building Co. was awarded the contract to construct the new reclaimed water treatment facility on a 20 acre site near the Lake Apopka North Shore Restoration Area. The facility is designed to provide 5MG/ADF of reclaimed water for public access. The project consisted of approximately 5,200 linear feet of canal modifications, a raw water pump station, two lined storage ponds with integrated slow sand filters, filtered water transfer pump station, disinfection system, 3 million gallon ground storage tank, reclaimed water flow meter station, high service pump station, motor control center, site storm water drainage system and site roadway system.
