Vogel Bros. Building Co. partnered with the UW on the Grainger Hall Building Phases 2 and 3 renovation project at the University of Wisconsin. This work represents a portion of a larger, multi-phase renovation effort, with each phase issued under its own set of drawings and technical specifications to provide flexibility in construction sequencing. Phases 2 and 3 may be completed in any order, allowing the University and project team to effectively manage work on the 2nd and 5th floors.
Phase 2 includes renovation of the northwest office suite on the 5th floor, while Phase 3 focuses on renovation of the northwest corner of the 2nd floor. The scope of work consists of selective demolition; installation of new steel stud framing and drywall partitions; new acoustical lay-in ceiling systems; updated interior finishes; and modifications to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems within the affected areas. The project modernizes and enhances functionality within Grainger Hall while maintaining operational flexibility throughout construction.
