The Waunakee Community School District’s 2022 Referendum provided funding for a series of renovations, maintenance work, and minor upgrades across multiple district buildings. The primary focus of the 2024 project work was on the Waunakee High School and the District Administrative Office facilities. Vogel Bros. Building Co. was responsible for implementing a variety of improvements at these locations, ranging from aesthetic enhancements to essential infrastructure maintenance. The scope of work included new paint, door and flooring updates, as well as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance.
Key areas refreshed during the limited summer construction timeline included the High School Main Commons, Performance Auditorium, Pool Area, multiple hallways and classrooms, restroom upgrades, parking lot repavement, exterior painting, and the addition of EV charging stations. Through these upgrades, the district aimed to enhance the functionality, efficiency, and aesthetic appeal of its facilities, ensuring an improved environment for students, staff, and the community.
