St. Albert the Great Catholic Church was established in Sun Prairie in 1967, after more than thirty years of growth need to expand their worship space. Vogel Bros. Building Co. was selected as their construction manager to build the new 21,000 square foot sanctuary and gathering space. To show appreciation for all the dedicated Parish members, Vogel Bros. Building Co. worked with the Parish Staff to have the first Mass in the uncompleted Day Chapel on the Feast Day of St. Albert the Great, November 15. The first official Mass in the completed facility was held the following spring on Mother’s Day.
