Vogel Bros. Building Co. partnered with Deerfield Community School District’s Middle/High School project, located at 300 Simonson Blvd. in Deerfield, Wisconsin, is a comprehensive “like new” redevelopment designed to modernize and enhance the existing 7–12 facility, which also houses the District offices. Following voter approval of a referendum in April 2023, design commenced on a multi-phased project that includes approximately 70,000 square feet of new additions and 95,000 square feet of renovations to the existing building.
Construction began in April 2024 and will continue through August 2026 in carefully planned phases to maintain school operations. Phase 1 (April 2024 – July 2025) includes approximately 40,000 square feet of additions to the north and west sides of the existing building. Phase 2 (June 2025 – July 2026) involves the removal and infill of approximately 30,000 square feet within the current footprint. In addition, summer work in 2024, 2025, and 2026 encompasses light to extensive renovations throughout roughly 95,000 square feet of the existing middle/high school space. The phased approach ensures minimal disruption to students and staff while delivering a modernized facility to support the District’s long-term educational needs.
