Vogel Bros. Building Co. served as Construction Manager for the interior expansion and renovation of Nimble Therapeutics’ facility at 601–603 Science Drive within University Research Park in Madison, Wisconsin. The project consisted of a multi-phase interior remodel within an occupied research building, including demolition and renovation of a 1,260-square-foot laboratory space, selective demolition and rebuild of a 905-square-foot office area, and renovation of approximately 3,350 square feet of additional lab space to create new conference rooms, a mother’s room, and upgraded laboratory environments. Work was carefully coordinated to allow the owner to remain operational in adjacent lab and office areas throughout construction. The renovation enhanced laboratory functionality, improved collaborative and support spaces, and provided infrastructure upgrades to support Nimble Therapeutics’ continued growth in a highly specialized research setting. The project was delivered on an accelerated schedule, beginning in early March 2024 and targeting substantial completion by August 1, 2024. Through detailed planning, safety coordination, and close collaboration with the owner and design team, Vogel Bros. successfully completed a high-performance life sciences environment tailored to Nimble Therapeutics’ evolving research needs.
